Louis Stein is the Director of Youth Engagement at Beth El. Louis grew up in Newton, Massachusetts and was active in NFTY Northeast and as a counselor at URJ Eisner Camp. He moved to Minnesota when he started school at Carleton College, and moved to Minneapolis after graduating. Before joining the Beth El team, Louis worked as a gardener and garden educator for the Indigenous-led nonprofit NATIFS, based in the Phillips neighborhood of Minneapolis. In his free time, Louis loves playing ultimate frisbee and chess, and enjoy going out to movies.
