Kim Kivens is a voice over, on camera and stage actor who many at Beth El may recognize as the occasional Esther in the Purim Shpiel. Her voice over and on camera work includes numerous commercials for radio and tv as well as online video games, like SciGirls on PBS.org and an animated series, Auto B Good. She has performed on stages throughout the Twin Cities: Minnesota Jewish Theatre Company, Theater Latte Da, Children’s Theatre Company, Hennepin Theatre Trust, Park Square Theatre and more.
Tom Lieberman is writer, producer and performer with over 40 years experience in the creative and production services field. He has put words into the mouths of characters ranging from Garrison Keillor to Winnie the Pooh, and his songs have been heard from Sesame Street to Sweet Land. Presently, he is working on the development of an animated feature film adaptation of Jerry Spinelli’s book Milkweed, and collaborating with NEA Jazz Master Delfeayo Marsalis on an animated children’s television series. Tom’s awards and honors include the 2006 Film Independent Spirit Award for Best First Feature, a Gold Lion from the 1986 Cannes Advertising Film Festival, and the 1966 Camp Teko Spirit Award.
