Early Modern Jewish History – from the Expulsion from Spain through the Enlightenment 1492- 1789 taught by Dr. Arie Zmora.
This course will focus on the relationship between world events and the life of Jewish communities as well as how Jews in European and Muslim lands created communities.
Course readings incorporate primary sources including diaries, Hassidic tales, and contemporary and modern scholarship.
Cost is $125.
