As a pillar of the Beth El Tikkun Olam Committee – Our Climate Justice Initiative takes bold strides to address the issues of climate action; building a healthier, more equitable and sustainable world for all.
The Beth El Green Team will seek to:
- To engage our congregants and community members across the generations in ways to promote environmental sustainability, and encourage these actions
- Influence the operations of our synagogue so that we reduce adverse impacts on our common air, land, and water
- Partner with faith and other groups in education and advocacy for a sustainable future.
- Support efforts to mitigate and adapt to climate change
