As we approach the Hebrew Yahrzeit of the Tree of Life tragedy, we welcome a physician and Pittsburgh native, Dr. Jonathan Weinkle as our Scholar In Residence.
Author of Healing People, Not Patients: Creating Authentic Relationships in Modern Healthcare, Dr. Jonathan Weinkle is a general internist and pediatrician and serves as a medical advisor to the Closure project of the Jewish Healthcare Foundation, a project intended to improve the quality of care and change the individual experience at end-of-life. Dr. Weinkle is a lifelong Pittsburgher and longtime resident of Squirrel Hill, and is thrilled to be working in his home neighborhood.
