The Young Toddler program serves children aged 16 months through age 24 months. Aleph Preschool uses the teacher to child ratio of 1:5. Enrollment is taken throughout the year based on availability.

We offer early morning care, “The Breakfast Club,” from 7:30-8:30am for no additional charge for Full Time families. The Breakfast Club is offered for part time schedules at an additional fee.
Young Toddler Goals
- Learn about self and build self-esteem
- Develop skills to build focus and stamina in the classroom
- Foster creativity through art, music, dramatic play, and role playing
- Develop gross motor skills through active indoor and outdoor play and dancing.
- Develop fine motor skills through various “busy-box” manipulatives, finger play, art, and rhythmic movement
- Explore numbers, shapes, colors, texture, etc., through songs, stories, counting, sorting, sequencing, and art
- Increase vocabulary (Hebrew and English) through books, flannel board & magnet board stories and games, rhymes, songs and instructional circle time activities
- Learn and live Judaism through blessings, the weekly celebrations of Havdalah and Shabbat, the observance of Jewish holidays, and a fostering of love for Torah and God.
